The knee is a fundamental joint in the musculoskeletal system, essential for both athletes, who require explosiveness, changes of direction, and stability for high-level performance, and elderly individuals, where its functionality is crucial to maintaining autonomy and quality of life.

Its complex biomechanics and the constant load it endures - approximately three times body weight when climbing stairs and up to eight times when jumping - make it particularly susceptible to both traumatic and degenerative conditions, requiring a specialized and personalized therapeutic approach.
